  • Drive the editorial and creative direction for the mainstage experience at annual Sales Kick-Off (SKO) events, including theme development, keynote scripting, and visual storytelling
  • Design and orchestrate a holistic multi-channel communication ecosystem across field-facing platforms, GTM All Hands meetings, internal portals, and real-time channels
  • Serve as the air traffic controller for sales communications by consolidating updates into a prioritized calendar and collaborating with Product, Marketing, and Engineering SMEs to deliver sales-ready messaging

  • You are a high-trust collaborator. You serve as a trusted strategic partner to C-suite executives, providing candid counsel and distilling cross-functional insights from Product, Marketing, and Engineering into unified messaging.
  • You thrive in ambiguity. You navigate fast-paced environments with ease, ruthlessly prioritizing long-term strategic goals alongside urgent, high-pressure communication needs.
  • You connect vision to execution. You possess an event visionary mindset with a proven track record of orchestrating mainstage executive experiences and driving engagement across global audiences.

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

About this role

Zscaler is seeking a senior communications leader to shape how the Global Sales organization understands and executes go-to-market strategy. You'll be the strategic voice translating complex cybersecurity concepts and sales initiatives into clear narratives for the CRO, GTM leadership, and the broader field. This means managing the full communication lifecycle—from board presentations and state-of-the-union updates to designing the mainstage experience at the annual Sales Kick-Off event, orchestrating multi-channel messaging across internal platforms, and serving as the central coordinator for all sales communications. You'll work across Product, Marketing, and Engineering to consolidate competing priorities into a prioritized calendar and actionable field messaging.

The role demands someone who can distill complexity into clarity, operate with urgency and creative conviction without waiting for direction, and earn the trust of C-suite executives through candid counsel and strategic insight. You'll need at least six years in internal or executive communications within cybersecurity or high-growth SaaS, with proven success managing large-scale events (1,000+ attendees) and advising senior GTM leadership. Experience supporting a CRO and expanding change management frameworks for organizational shifts is essential. If you've also designed digital communication portals, established communication KPIs with field feedback loops, or leveraged AI to drive operational efficiency, you'll stand out. Based in San Jose with hybrid flexibility, this full-time role offers a salary range of $150,500 to $215,000, plus commission, bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
