You'll manage a portfolio of personal injury claims and play a key role in supporting people through challenging times.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in Darwin, with the flexibility of a hybrid work environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing a portfolio of Workers Compensation claims for small, medium, and large employers
- Accurately assessing claims and ensuring injured workers receive the correct entitlements on behalf of iCare
- Communicating clearly and empathetically with all stakeholders
- Prioritising your workflow to meet key timeframes and deliver a seamless experience
- Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver proactive case management
- Providing high-quality customer service to employers, injured workers, and legislative authorities through compliant, efficient, and timely support

About this role
Suncorp's Workers Compensation Claims team in Darwin is seeking someone to manage a portfolio of personal injury claims, working with injured workers, employers, and iCare to ensure claimants receive correct entitlements and support through what are often difficult circumstances. The role involves assessing claims, communicating with multiple stakeholders, coordinating with internal and external partners, and maintaining compliance with timeframes and legislative requirements. You'll be delivering customer service across a high-volume caseload in a hybrid setup.
The ideal candidate combines strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work methodically under pressure. You'll need proven customer service experience, clear communication abilities, and genuine empathy for people in vulnerable situations. Prior experience in workers compensation or personal injury claims is highly valued; an allied health background is a bonus but not essential. This is a permanent full-time role suited to someone who finds purpose in helping others navigate complex processes and wants to work within a structured, collaborative team environment.
