About this role
Eos It Solutions is seeking an experienced AV Engineer to support a global multimedia audio-visual environment for a major client. This role combines hands-on technical work with design and project responsibilities, requiring someone who can move fluidly between break-fix troubleshooting, event execution, and system commissioning. You'll work across event support—from site setup and equipment testing through teardown and follow-up—while also handling ongoing ticket management and incident resolution alongside the operations team. The position also involves design consultation, meeting with architects and interior designers to ensure AV guidelines are met, and executing commissioning tasks to validate system readiness.
Success in this role demands deep technical knowledge across a broad spectrum of AV and broadcast technologies, including control systems, DSPs, video routing, and unified communications platforms like Zoom. You'll need hands-on familiarity with audio and video formats and protocols (HDMI, SDI, IPMX, NDI, ST-2110, Dante, AES67, and others), plus practical understanding of media networking concepts such as VLANs, multicast, QoS, PTP, and bandwidth management. Industry certifications like CTS or CTS-D are expected, and experience designing and integrating mixed broadcast and pro AV environments at scale is essential.
This is an in-office role in Los Angeles with a salary range of $90,000 to $110,000. The position suits someone who combines technical depth with strong communication skills, can manage customer expectations against SLAs, and thrives in a structured global team environment while handling sensitive information responsibly.
