About this role

Voyager Lunar Systems is looking for a Mechanical Integration and Test Engineer to shepherd spacecraft, rovers, and lunar infrastructure through integration and validation. You'll own the hands-on work of planning and executing tests, writing procedures, managing tooling and ground support equipment, and collecting data—while collaborating daily with propulsion, thermal, structures, electrical, and mechanisms teams. The role spans the full lifecycle: design reviews for manufacturability and testability, readiness assessments, operation of environmental test equipment like thermal vacuum chambers and shaker tables, and documentation that feeds into formal reports and reviews.

The position requires a B.S. in Mechanical, Aerospace, or a related field and 0–2+ years of hands-on experience with integration, assembly, or testing of electro-mechanical or fluid systems. You'll need strong technical writing skills, CAD proficiency (SolidWorks preferred), and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, requirement-driven environment. Experience with environmental testing, instrumentation and data acquisition, cleanroom practices, or shop tools is a plus; familiarity with programming languages or test software like LabView rounds out the ideal candidate profile.

This is an in-office role in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Voyager provides relocation assistance, comprehensive health coverage, flexible time off, retirement matching, and wellness benefits. U.S. Person status is required due to export control regulations.
