This person will track progress and coordinate delivery for a portfolio of initiatives spanning AI tooling adoption, financial and people systems, revenue and customer systems, security, and billing operations, helping keep each on track against scope, timeline, and stakeholder expectations. The role partners closely with AI Solutions, Business Systems, Finance, and Security teams to keep internal systems reliable and adopted as Checkr scales.
What you'll do
- Support program management for a portfolio of Corporate Engineering initiatives, tracking progress from scoping through delivery and post-launch review.
- Maintain program roadmaps and status reporting, translating progress and blockers into clear updates for stakeholders and leadership.
- Coordinate with AI Solutions, Business Systems, Finance, and Security teams to track dependencies and flag delivery risks.
- Support adoption of AI tooling and integrations across internal teams by coordinating rollout logistics, training schedules, and communications.
- Track success metrics and KPIs for each program, compiling data to inform trade-off discussions with the Manager, Technology Assurance.
- Help maintain and refine program management processes, templates, and governance to improve consistency across Corporate Engineering.
What you bring
- 5+ years of experience in program or project management, with a solid grasp of project planning, stakeholder communication, and risk tracking.
- Experience supporting technology rollouts or adoption initiatives, including coordinating training and communications with end users.
- Strong documentation skills, able to communicate plans, updates, and decisions clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A detail-oriented mindset, with experience tracking success metrics and KPIs to support program reporting
- PMP, PMI-ACP or similar certifications is a plus.
- An A-player mindset with a strong bias for action: you raise the bar, move with urgency, stay resilient through ambiguity, and take ownership to deliver meaningful outcomes.

About this role
Checkr's Financial Operations team is seeking a Senior FinOps Program Analyst to shepherd a diverse portfolio of internal technology initiatives from conception through delivery and beyond. Reporting to the Director of Billing Ops, you'll own program execution and scheduling across AI tooling adoption, financial systems, revenue operations, security, and billing—coordinating with AI Solutions, Business Systems, Finance, and Security teams to keep initiatives aligned with scope, timeline, and stakeholder expectations. This means maintaining roadmaps, surfacing blockers early, tracking dependencies, and translating progress into clear updates for leadership.
The work blends traditional program management with a focus on technology adoption at scale. You'll coordinate rollout logistics, training schedules, and communications as new tools and systems roll out across teams. You'll also establish and refine the processes, templates, and governance that keep Corporate Engineering consistent and effective. Success hinges on your ability to track metrics and KPIs, flag risks before they derail delivery, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
You'll need at least five years in program or project coordination, hands-on experience managing technology rollouts and user adoption, and strong documentation skills. A PMP or similar certification is a plus. The role rewards an action-oriented mindset—someone who raises the bar, moves with urgency, and takes ownership in ambiguous environments. Based in San Francisco, the position is hybrid with an expectation of three or more days in the office weekly, and offers a salary range of $128,000–$151,000 plus equity, full medical/dental/vision coverage, learning and development allowance, and flexible PTO.
