About this role
Skilled Wound Care is looking for a Business Development Manager to own full-cycle sales within the skilled nursing and long-term care sector across the Baltimore region. You'll manage your own territory from prospecting through contract close, selling a physician-led wound care model directly to facility owners, administrators, and regional decision-makers. This is a contract position based in-office, requiring significant travel—expect to be on the road four to five days per week.
The role rewards performance directly: you'll earn a base salary of $100,000 to $120,000 plus uncapped quarterly bonuses tied entirely to deals you close. Success here demands two to ten years of documented sales experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or wound care, along with genuine fluency in how SNF operations and purchasing decisions work. You need to be comfortable with clinical value selling, able to articulate ROI to C-suite audiences, and capable of building lasting relationships with facility leadership.
This opportunity suits someone who thrives with autonomy, leads with integrity, and values a team environment where leadership actively supports your growth. The company emphasizes ongoing clinical education, professional development, and genuine partnership—not just transactional management. You'll need a bachelor's degree, valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly.
