About this role
AEG's touring department is seeking an intern to provide direct operational support across multiple concurrent tours. You'd handle a mix of administrative and coordination tasks: reviewing artwork and sales reports for accuracy, managing the departmental calendar, organizing tour logistics like routings and venue availabilities, distributing media assets, and liaising with vendors and venues. The role demands precision and attention to detail, as your work directly impacts how tours are presented to the public and how smoothly they operate behind the scenes.
Success in this position requires strong organizational skills, fluency in Spanish (both written and verbal), and comfort with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. You should be comfortable working under tight deadlines, thinking critically about problems, and balancing independent work with collaboration. A background in communications, media, advertising, or a related field is expected, along with a genuine interest in the music industry and current trends. The ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate clearly with both internal teams and external partners is essential.
Based in Chicago and conducted entirely in-office, this is a full-time internship paying $17.67 per hour with access to AEG's comprehensive benefits package. No travel is required for the role.
