Responsibilities:
- Greet and prepare patients for treatment
- Provide chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures
- Expose radiographs and intra-oral pictures
- Provide post operative instructions and patient education
- Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
- Maintain strict compliance to infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPA
- Maintain dental supply inventory
- Perform other related job duties as assigned
- Must demonstrate strong teamwork as the providers assisted are subject to change dependent upon the practice needs
Skills & Qualifications:
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- C.D.A. preferred
- Possess required certifications, licensure or registration as required by state
- Strong verbal skills

About this role
At 42 North Dental's Manchester location, you'd support dentists and patients across the full clinical workflow—from greeting and preparing patients to providing chairside assistance during procedures, taking radiographs, and managing post-operative care. The role also includes the behind-the-scenes work of sterilizing instruments, maintaining treatment rooms, managing inventory, and ensuring strict compliance with infection control and regulatory standards. You'd be part of a practice built by dentists and positioned to pilot new treatments and technologies, so there's potential to work with evolving clinical approaches.
This position suits someone with strong communication skills who thrives in a collaborative team environment and is comfortable with procedural variety.
