About this role
At 42 North Dental's Exeter location, you'd work chairside supporting dentists through a range of clinical procedures—exposing radiographs, assisting during treatment, and managing patient education and post-operative care. The role also involves the behind-the-scenes essentials: sterilizing instruments, maintaining treatment rooms to strict infection control standards, managing supply inventory, and coordinating communication between clinical and administrative teams. You'd need strong interpersonal skills, knowledge of dental procedures and terminology, and ideally a CDA certification. The position demands flexibility, as you'd support different providers based on practice needs.
42 North Dental, founded by dentists and rooted in Boston's innovation-focused healthcare culture, emphasizes teamwork and patient experience. Beyond the $25–27 hourly rate, the practice offers comprehensive benefits including health and vision coverage, dental benefits, an employee assistance program with free mental health support, 401(k) matching, and tuition-free continuing education. This role would suit someone who values clinical variety, wants to develop dental assisting skills with ongoing support, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
