About this role
RoofingSource is a family-owned commercial roofing company looking for a Service Foreman in Chicago to lead in-house crews on low-sloped roof installations and maintenance. You'd work with systems including TPO, PVC, BUR, modified bitumen, and EPDM, operating specialized equipment like Leister welders and hot air guns while ensuring work meets job specifications, warranties, and safety standards. The role involves directing and training crew members, documenting work via tablet, and communicating professionally with clients and your team.
The company emphasizes treating employees as their most valuable asset and provides full support—company vehicle, tools, materials, and technology included. With five or more years of roofing experience preferred (though related trade experience or willingness to learn can substitute), you'd be stepping into a role where foremen report a meaningful difference in workplace culture and consistency compared to typical industry positions. The salary range is $30–40K annually, and benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, paid time off, pet insurance, and HSA/FSA options.
