About this role
RoofingSource is hiring a Journeyman in Orlando to install and maintain low-sloped roof systems across multiple membrane types—TPO, PVC, BUR, modified bitumen, and EPDM. You'll work directly with installation crews, operating specialized equipment like Leister welders and hot air guns while adhering to manufacturer specs, warranty requirements, and safety standards. The role includes supporting the Foreman with crew communication, training, and direction, as well as creating client reports and managing job documentation via tablet.
This position suits someone with at least three years of roofing or related trade experience, though prior construction background can substitute. You'll need to read technical specifications carefully, operate handheld technology confidently, and communicate professionally with crew and clients. RoofingSource provides a company vehicle, all tools and materials, plus a standard benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, employer-matched 401(k), HSA/FSA options, pet insurance, and short-term disability.
