About this role
VSC Fire & Security is looking for an experienced field supervisor to lead sprinkler installation projects across job sites in the Mobile area. You'd oversee project timelines, coordinate with contractors and clients, manage safety compliance, and provide direction to foremen—while staying hands-on with installations when needed. The role requires three to five years in fire sprinkler installation, pipefitting, or fire protection work, plus strong communication skills and the ability to read plans and enforce safety protocols.
The company offers competitive pay between $35 and $45 per hour (more with experience), overtime eligibility, a company vehicle and fuel card, and a solid benefits package including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, life insurance, and disability coverage. They'll cover NICET certification testing and provide all necessary PPE. If you hold a Journeyman pipefitter certification, First Aid/CPR, or OSHA 30, those are valued but not required. This is a full-time position suited to someone with hands-on fire protection experience who's ready to step into a supervisory role while staying connected to the technical work.
