About this role
RF-SMART's 12-week summer internship places you on the Service Delivery Help Desk team in Jacksonville, handling real first-line IT support for corporate systems. You'll manage ticket triage, user account provisioning, equipment deployment, and identity and access tasks while working under close supervision to build diagnostic skills across the company's platform stack. This isn't shadowing—you're contributing directly to the team's workload while learning hands-on.
Beyond the helpdesk work, the program embeds professional development into your schedule: you'll complete a CliftonStrengths assessment, attend workshops on communication and presentation skills, collaborate on a 12-week innovation project, and participate in structured sessions with RF-SMART leaders. You'll also build your network through an intern alumni panel, volunteer events, and company activities, with access to LinkedIn Learning throughout.
The role suits students (Junior or Senior standing) with strong written and verbal communication skills, technical aptitude, and a genuine interest in IT operations. You need to be available for 40 hours per week in-office in Jacksonville and eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
