About this role
Indie Campers is looking for someone to run day-to-day operations at their Phoenix depot—a hands-on role where you'll manage rental workflows, coordinate a small team, and keep the fleet ready and customers satisfied. This is 70–80% direct operational work: you'll handle check-ins and check-outs, conduct basic vehicle inspections, maintain accurate fleet records, oversee cleaning and maintenance tasks, and step in wherever needed to keep things moving. You'll also track daily performance metrics, promote ancillary products, and escalate technical issues to regional teams while managing costs and operational spending.
The role suits someone with 2–4 years in operations, logistics, rental, hospitality, or similar fast-paced environments who genuinely enjoys hands-on work. You'll need to be comfortable lifting moderate loads, working indoors and outdoors in all weather, and staying flexible with weekend and peak-season hours. A valid driver's license and strong English are essential; French is a bonus. The position pays $21–$23 per hour and includes performance bonuses, referral incentives, and free road trips to experience Indie's fleet firsthand.
This is a chance to build operational expertise at a growing global company with clear pathways into field operations leadership and potential transfers to offices in Lisbon, Mexico City, or Manila. You'll receive ongoing training and coaching while making a direct impact on how customers experience road-trip travel.
