About this role
Supporting high-performance compute operations for defense missions at Hill AFB, this role pairs hands-on cluster management with exposure to modern cloud infrastructure. You'll operate job schedulers like Slurm and PBS, troubleshoot GPU-accelerated workloads, and gradually take on design responsibilities alongside a Senior Cloud Engineer. The work spans HPC cluster operations, data pipeline integration with tools like Kafka and Airflow, and infrastructure-as-code provisioning on AWS.
The position suits someone with at least two years of cloud or infrastructure engineering experience who has touched HPC schedulers or GPU computing. You'll need proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell), a grasp of DevOps practices, and ideally CompTIA Security+ or equivalent. AWS ParallelCluster, Batch, and data services experience are valuable but not required if you learn quickly. An active Secret clearance is mandatory; Top Secret is preferred.
This is a full-time, in-office role at Accenture Federal Services' Hill AFB location. The salary range is $106,300–$206,200, and the environment emphasizes agile delivery, ownership, and a growth mindset in a mission-focused setting.
