About this role
Dennis Eagle's PDI Inspector role offers hands-on quality control work in vehicle manufacturing. You'll conduct pre-delivery inspections on vehicles before they leave the facility, performing in-process audits, torque and hydraulic pressure checks, and systematic testing against inspection procedures. The position requires recording build standards and faults for analysis, then collaborating with manufacturing teams to address issues and drive continuous improvement. This is a detail-focused role where your work directly protects the company's reputation and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate has strong mechanical knowledge—ideally from light vehicle or HGV experience—and familiarity with hydraulic systems and quality assurance. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment, meeting set deadlines while staying flexible when priorities shift. Mechanical qualifications, an HGV licence, or tachograph training would strengthen your application, though the company encourages applicants who show potential even if they don't tick every box.
The position is part-time at 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 06:45–16:15, based in Warwick with a hybrid arrangement. The hourly rate is £15.91–£18.26 depending on experience. Benefits include 25 days' annual leave (pro rata), a 5% pension contribution, life assurance, health coverage, family leave support, and access to career development programmes.
