About this role
Heapy's Senior Project Manager role centers on stewarding medium to large-sized projects from proposal through closeout, with fees typically reaching $500,000. You'd own the full scope of planning and execution—defining project parameters, building schedules and budgets, coordinating across multiple internal practices, and managing the relationships between Heapy, clients, architects, and construction managers. The position demands strong communication skills to translate client needs into actionable plans and to keep all stakeholders aligned throughout delivery.
Beyond day-to-day project oversight, you'd contribute to business development and client relationship expansion, working closely with practice leadership to assemble project teams and ensure quality, financial targets, and timelines are met. The role includes regulatory responsibilities like permit submissions and code compliance coordination. Success here requires balancing technical project management with people leadership—keeping colleagues engaged, maintaining client satisfaction, and representing Heapy's values-driven culture.
