About this role

GOAL's Community Liaison Officer role sits at the centre of a growing community fundraising operation, managing relationships with over 200 volunteer organisers while supporting flagship campaigns like GOAL Mile and Jersey Day. You would be the main point of contact for schools and community groups across Ireland and Northern Ireland, responsible for recruiting new fundraisers, nurturing existing partnerships, and ensuring supporters feel connected to GOAL's humanitarian impact. The position blends relationship management with operational delivery—coordinating campaign logistics, monitoring participation targets, and creating fundraising resources that enable others to raise funds effectively.

The day-to-day work spans digital and administrative dimensions alongside the relationship focus. You'll manage supporter data in Microsoft 365, build targeted email campaigns, oversee online fundraising platforms, and handle income reconciliation with the Finance team. This requires comfort with CRM systems and digital fundraising tools, alongside strong organisational skills to support logistics during peak campaign periods. The role demands flexibility to work evenings and weekends when needed, and a clean driver's licence is essential for travel throughout Ireland and Northern Ireland.

This is an 18-month fixed-term volunteer position based in Dublin on a hybrid model (two days per week in the Dun Laoghaire office). It suits someone with prior experience in schools engagement, volunteer management, and the Irish fundraising landscape who wants hands-on exposure across events, digital engagement, and community partnership building with an established humanitarian NGO.
