About this role

Pediatrics Plus in Conway is hiring a Billing Specialist to manage the full scope of insurance billing operations for their pediatric practice. You'd handle claim processing across Medicaid, commercial insurance, and private pay accounts; reconcile payments; manage medical record requests; and work with insurance companies on pre-certifications. The role also involves regular phone contact with families and staff to explain billing scenarios and resolve discrepancies, so strong communication skills are essential alongside your technical abilities.

The position requires at least two years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting, ideally with a bachelor's degree, and demands proficiency in database systems (specifically deTASO), spreadsheets, and general office software. You'll need to balance accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a busy environment while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality. This is a full-time, in-office role in Conway offering competitive pay, PTO, and medical/dental/vision coverage.
