About this role

A. Blair Enterprises is hiring a Local CDL-A Driver for their Louisville yard management operation. You'd work a Monday-Friday second shift (starting around 2pm, with occasional weekend calls) moving between two dedicated locations and performing yard spotting work. The role keeps you home every day, which suits drivers looking for local work without the road time. You'll be responsible for basic truck maintenance, daily vehicle inspections, and adhering to safety protocols while working both independently and alongside a team.

The position requires a valid Class A CDL and a clean driving record. Yard jockey experience is preferred but not mandatory. You'll need to be at least 23, pass a background check and drug screening, and have a smartphone for payroll and job communications. The work involves sitting, standing, and lifting up to 75 pounds in all weather conditions.

The pay is $25.20 per hour with weekly direct deposit. Full-time benefits—health, dental, vision, and life insurance—kick in after 60 days, along with two weeks paid vacation, earned PTO, and a retention rewards program.
