About this role
GS1 Canada is looking for a bilingual communications professional to own employee experience and internal storytelling across the organization. Based in Toronto with hybrid flexibility, this role centers on building and maintaining bilingual onboarding content, developing employer brand messaging, and managing Pulse—the company's internal communications channel. You'd work closely with Corporate Communications, People & Culture, and business partners to create audience-appropriate content in both English and French, ensuring consistency with organizational messaging and brand standards while handling the day-to-day writing, editing, and digital publishing that keeps internal communications running smoothly.
The position suits someone with one to three years of communications experience who wants hands-on ownership of a specific communications function. Beyond content creation, you'd manage intake and approval workflows, coordinate across channels to reduce duplication, track performance metrics, and contribute ideas to improve employee engagement. The role also includes administrative support—maintaining templates, distribution lists, and project files—alongside event coordination and basic social media publishing support as needed.
You'll need post-secondary education in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, or a related field, with strong writing and editing skills in both languages. The salary range is $68,000 to $75,000 annually.
