About this role

Kaseya is looking for a DevTest Engineer to build and maintain comprehensive automation across their cloud-native SaaS platform. You'll design testing frameworks for backend services, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems—covering functional, integration, performance, and end-to-end scenarios. The work spans AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipeline integration, and production-scale validation, with a focus on shift-left quality practices and continuous delivery efficiency. You'll also troubleshoot production issues, analyze system telemetry, and translate customer problems into automated regression tests.

This role demands strong software engineering fundamentals: five-plus years in SDET, DevTest, or QA automation work, plus fluency in languages like Java, Kotlin, or C#. You'll need hands-on experience with REST APIs, microservices, messaging systems, and databases, along with familiarity of frameworks such as Playwright, REST Assured, or TestNG. AWS experience, SQL/NoSQL knowledge, and comfort with observability tools are expected. The position also emphasizes using AI coding assistants and agents to accelerate test creation and maintenance—so comfort with AI-assisted development practices is part of the job.

This is a contract position based in Miami, requiring in-office presence. It suits someone who enjoys building scalable automation infrastructure, working across complex distributed systems, and collaborating with engineering teams to improve platform reliability and testability.
