About this role

At The Ritz-Carlton's Boston Residences, this role centers on managing an exclusive owners' lounge—overseeing everything from beverage service and bar operations to maintaining the space and ensuring the comfort and safety of high-end clientele. You'll prepare and serve drinks, monitor inventory, handle opening and closing procedures, and keep detailed records of events and stock levels. The work spans both indoor and outdoor areas and requires you to meet strict beverage service standards and state regulations.

Success in this position depends on strong hospitality instincts and reliable execution of operational details. You'll need CARE certification for alcohol service and ideally one year of bartending experience in a luxury hotel setting. The role demands physical stamina—standing for extended periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, and moving between the bar, storage areas, and lounge spaces. Beyond technical skills, you'll be expected to anticipate owners' and guests' needs, communicate clearly, and uphold Ritz-Carlton service standards while maintaining confidentiality and protecting company assets.

This is a full-time, in-office position suited to someone detail-oriented who takes pride in maintaining high standards in an upscale environment and enjoys working in a fast-paced, service-focused setting.
