About this role
Anduril's 12-week summer internship offers hands-on work in guidance, navigation, and control systems for autonomous military platforms. You'll apply control theory and applied mathematics to design and test GNC control laws within vehicle management software, build simulation models to validate designs, and collaborate across teams on projects that move from concept to deployment at pace. This is a chance to work on real systems with experienced engineers in a defense technology environment.
The role suits students in Robotics, Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or related fields) who are returning to complete at least one more term of study. You'll need to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance and commit to the full 12 weeks in Sydney on-site. Prior experience with digital control systems, state estimation techniques like Kalman filters, or proficiency in Matlab and Simulink will strengthen your candidacy, though the core requirement is a solid foundation in the relevant engineering discipline.
