About this role
At ThermalWorks, you'd manage the complete delivery lifecycle of innovative data center cooling systems—from pre-construction planning through commissioning and turnover. This role demands hands-on oversight of schedule, budget, safety, and quality while coordinating across engineering, manufacturing, commissioning, and service teams to solve technical problems and ensure designs meet field conditions. You'll also interface with senior leadership, clients, and regulatory bodies, conduct inspections and audits for compliance, and take full accountability for project financial performance.
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or related technical/construction field) and brings 7+ years of project leadership experience, with at least 4 years managing complex, mission-critical infrastructure or data center projects. You'll need hands-on familiarity with commissioning oversight, Level 3–5 testing, and integrated system delivery. Beyond technical credentials, you should have a track record of earning respect from both technical teams and clients through competence and clear communication, along with the organizational skills to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
Based in Dallas, this full-time position involves roughly 25% travel across your assigned US region. You'll work directly with ThermalWorks' project management team in an in-office setting, joining a company focused on sustainable, water-free cooling solutions for AI infrastructure.
