About this role

Innovetive Petcare's Canine Country Club and Wellness Center in Ennis, Texas is looking for someone who can wear multiple hats in a hands-on, active role. You'd split your time between direct animal care—feeding, medicating, exercising, and monitoring boarding guests—and keeping the facility itself running smoothly through maintenance, repairs, landscaping, and general upkeep. This means your day might include bathing a dog, mending a fence, shuttling pets to appointments, and communicating with clients about their pet's stay.

The position suits someone who is genuinely comfortable around animals, enjoys physical work, and can manage varied responsibilities with minimal supervision. You'll need to be detail-oriented enough to follow medication and sanitation protocols precisely, observant enough to catch changes in a pet's behavior or health, and reliable enough to work independently in a fast-paced environment. The job requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and work outdoors in all weather, plus a high school diploma and a clean driving record if you're 21 or older.

This is a full-time, in-office role paying $16–$18 per hour. It's best suited for someone who finds satisfaction in both animal care and property stewardship, and who thrives when no two days are exactly the same.
