About this role

# About this role

Cision's Account Director role at PR Newswire is fundamentally about stewarding high-value client relationships in Singapore's corporate communications market. You'll spend the vast majority of your time managing and expanding existing accounts—ensuring clients get maximum value from the platform's newswire distribution, media monitoring, content strategy, and social tools—while dedicating roughly 10% of effort to identifying upselling opportunities and new business within those same client ecosystems. This is a senior individual contributor position, not a team management role, requiring you to own quarterly and annual retention and growth targets independently.

The ideal candidate brings 5–10 years of enterprise account management or SaaS sales experience, ideally in media, PR, or communications. You'll need a consultative approach capable of influencing C-suite stakeholders, deep knowledge of corporate PR workflows, and a track record of hitting commercial KPIs. The role demands autonomy, accountability, and comfort operating in a fast-paced environment while maintaining regular communication with internal teams and leadership on account performance and market insights.

The position is hybrid, based in Singapore, and comes with standard benefits including 15 days annual leave, group medical insurance, parental leave options, and EAP support. This suits someone who thrives managing complex, long-term client relationships and can balance retention discipline with opportunistic growth.
