About this role
DEPT® is seeking a Director of Growth to lead new business development for its Denver office, driving revenue through client acquisition across a broad range of agency services—from branding and campaign strategy to ecommerce, AI transformation, and systems integration. This is a sales leadership role focused primarily on closing deals and generating revenue, though it requires the strategic thinking to understand how DEPT®'s full capabilities map to client needs across different industries.
Your day-to-day will center on owning the pitch process end-to-end: building timelines, writing briefings, developing win strategies, and crafting responses to RFIs and procurement requests. You'll build and maintain executive relationships with prospects and clients, collaborate with internal teams on proposal content, and work to continuously improve how the business development function operates. The role demands someone who can think strategically about go-to-market approaches while maintaining a bias for action and problem-solving.
You'll need at least ten years in agency sales, growth, or client services, with demonstrated success selling agency services across multiple verticals. A working knowledge of branding, creative, media, ecommerce, and engineering is expected, as is the ability to build trust quickly with C-suite executives and navigate complex cross-functional collaboration. The position is full-time, in-office in Denver, with a salary range of $135,000–$155,000 and standard benefits including healthcare, 401k matching, and PTO.
