About this role

Revolution Medicines is seeking an Associate Director to build and execute the marketing strategy for its oncology portfolio in Japan, with a specific focus on pancreatic cancer. This is a hands-on leadership role that spans the full commercialization lifecycle—from launch preparation through post-launch growth. You'll own brand strategy development, translate it into tactical marketing plans across customer engagement and digital channels, oversee promotional materials and sales training, and manage budgets and external vendors. Success requires deep collaboration with Sales, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Compliance teams to ensure every initiative aligns with strategy and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate brings at least five years of oncology marketing experience, ideally with pancreatic cancer expertise and a track record of launching new products. You'll need demonstrated capability in developing product strategy, managing complex initiatives from conception through approval and deployment, and working across internal and external stakeholders. Fluency in Japanese at a professional business level is essential, as is strong knowledge of the Japanese pharmaceutical regulatory landscape and promotion standards. Experience in biotech or early-stage organizations is valued, as is English proficiency. This is a full-time, in-office position based in Tokyo.
