About this role
Pacific Seafood's Route Delivery Driver position combines logistics, customer service, and sales in a single role. You'll manage the full delivery cycle—from verifying orders are correctly loaded and secured, to delivering along a predetermined route, to unloading products according to customer preferences. The work requires you to communicate effectively with both internal teams and customers, handle paperwork accurately, and represent the company professionally while addressing any issues that arise. You'll also handle additional tasks like backhauls and airport pickups as operational needs dictate.
This role demands strong attention to detail and a genuine commitment to safety. You'll perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, follow DOT regulations and company driving guidelines, maintain your vehicle, and report maintenance issues promptly. The position is physically demanding—expect sustained standing, walking, reaching, and grasping throughout your day.
To qualify, you need a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of experience delivering perishable food products, a valid driver's license, and a clean Motor Vehicle Report for the past three years. You'll also need to pass a road test. If you thrive under time pressure, know the Sacramento area well, and take pride in keeping operations running smoothly while building customer relationships, this full-time position in Sacramento could be a good fit.
