Job Scope:
- Develop enterprise architecture and technology roadmaps in alignment with business and operational requirements
- Create and implement comprehensive solution designs and architecture that meet the requirements, considering factors such as functional fit, scalability, performance, security, lean architecture considerations and fit with overall enterprise architecture
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them both in design and delivery
- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools to be used in the solution based on the requirements and constraints
- Establish standards, policies, and best practices, ensuring they promote consistent and compliant solution architectures across the organization.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the following areas: Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP, application development based on modernization patterns, microservices, containerization, Integration – Kafka, AMQP, API, Mobile Application, CI/CD, SRE, Data & analytics & AI/ML, IoT, Security, IaC
- In depth understanding of architectural patterns.
- Experience across one or more of the following industry segments (public sector, health, financial services
- Deep knowledge of current technology and trends
- Logical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Strong collaboration, communication and presentation skills
- Solid knowledge of agile implementation
- Prior experience in public sector projects; knowledge of GCC & related tech stack will be advantageous

About this role
Temus, a Temasek-backed consulting firm focused on digital transformation, is seeking a Cloud Solution Architect to design enterprise technology strategies for both government and private sector clients. You would develop comprehensive solution architectures and technology roadmaps aligned with business needs, evaluate cloud platforms and tools, identify and mitigate risks, and establish architectural standards and best practices across engagements. This is a full-time, in-office role based in Singapore.
The position requires a minimum of ten years' experience across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), modern application development patterns including microservices and containerization, integration technologies, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code. You should have deep knowledge of architectural patterns, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and familiarity with agile practices. Experience in public sector, healthcare, or financial services is valued; prior work on government projects and knowledge of the GCC tech stack would be advantageous.
This role suits someone with substantial hands-on cloud architecture experience who is ready to move into a consulting-led advisory capacity, particularly if you have worked across multiple industry verticals or have government sector exposure.
