About this role
Ruggable, a venture-backed direct-to-consumer home goods brand in Los Angeles, is seeking an experienced procurement leader to oversee its global supply chain operations. This contract role reports to senior leadership and involves owning the monthly sales and operations planning process, managing relationships with core raw material vendors across Asia and India, and leading a team of supply planning and procurement professionals. You'll balance competing priorities: negotiating favorable pricing and terms, ensuring on-time delivery for product launches, driving cost improvements without sacrificing quality, and building real-time visibility into inventory and supply chain risks.
The ideal candidate brings at least ten years of direct supply planning and procurement experience, ideally in home goods or textiles, plus five years managing vendors through contract negotiations and performance reviews. You'll need hands-on familiarity with enterprise systems like Oracle NetSuite or SAP and MRP software, along with proven success working directly with suppliers in Asia and India. Experience implementing MRP systems, managing distributed teams internationally, or using AI tools for forecasting and risk identification would strengthen your candidacy. The role offers $150,000–$175,000 annually plus bonus and 401(k) matching, and requires in-office presence in Los Angeles.
