About this role

At Judi Health, you'd lead a team building and maintaining the clinical infrastructure that powers prior authorization decisions across pharmacy benefits. Your pharmacists, technicians, and analysts would develop evidence-based PA criteria, configure system logic, and craft member and provider communications—all while ensuring compliance and operational efficiency. The role sits at the intersection of clinical pharmacy expertise and health technology, requiring you to translate complex utilization management policies into functional system configurations and clear, compliant messaging.

This position demands both clinical depth and leadership capability. You'll need at least five years in prior authorization or utilization management, with two years supervising others, plus a current pharmacist license. Beyond managing team performance and quality standards, you'll collaborate across formulary, product development, regulatory, and operations teams to continuously improve workflows, reduce turnaround times, and implement formulary updates and regulatory changes. Subject matter expertise in PA criteria and system capabilities will make you the go-to resource for internal and external stakeholders.

The hybrid role in Charlotte (or NYC or Denver) offers a $155,000–$180,000 salary and standard Monday–Friday scheduling, though flexibility for critical initiatives outside regular hours is expected. This suits a licensed pharmacist ready to move from individual clinical work into strategic leadership within a modern health technology environment.
