About this role

The Solutions Architect role at The Enablement Squad sits at the intersection of sales, customer success, and technical delivery for Box's content management platform. You'll work directly with enterprise customers to design and implement complex solutions—ranging from custom document vaults and large-scale file migrations to CRM integrations and workflow transformations. This is a high-visibility position where you're both a trusted technical advisor during the sales process and the primary owner of solution delivery, responsible for scoping engagements, writing technical specifications, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

The role demands strong technical foundations: at least five years in development, consulting, or professional services, with solid expertise in cloud architecture (APIs, infrastructure, scalability) and hands-on experience with languages like Python, TypeScript, Node.js, Java, or .NET. Beyond coding skills, you need the ability to translate complex technical concepts for C-suite executives and line-of-business managers alike, and to thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments. Experience with enterprise content management systems and cloud migrations is valued but not required.

This is an in-office position in San Diego with a salary range of $128,000–$160,000. The work involves close collaboration across sales and customer success teams, occasional client visits, and the challenge of building repeatable solution playbooks that drive both customer outcomes and revenue targets.
