About this role

Cohere Health's Clinical Intelligence team is building AI-powered solutions that automate prior authorization in healthcare, and this Associate Software Engineer role offers early-career developers a chance to contribute across the full stack of a production platform handling millions of requests annually. You'll work on deterministic rules-based and AI-driven automation features, collaborating with product and design teams to shape both the technical direction and user experience of cloud-based applications.

The role expects hands-on ownership of the entire development lifecycle—from design through production support—with exposure to Java or Python, React, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), and both relational and NoSQL databases. With 0–3 years of experience, you'll be expected to move quickly, learn new technologies independently, and adapt to shifting priorities. If you have interest in AI/LLM integration or agent-based systems, that background would be valuable, though not required at entry level.

This is an in-office position in Hyderabad and suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare tech environment, values autonomy, and wants to build systems that directly impact patient care workflows.
