Qualifications
The Requirements:
- 8+ years’ experience in clinical strategy, pharmacy benefit management, analytics, growth and consulting
- Deep understanding of the pharmacy benefit management and US healthcare ecosystems, either at a PBM, health plan, health tech company or as a benefits consultant
- PBM account executive experience strongly preferred
- A dynamic, strategic thinker not afraid to challenge the status quo by asking the hard questions
- Able to change ambiguity into clarity, action and outcomes in a high paced environment that requires the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Passionate about patient outcomes, client relationships and working with cross functional teams
- Engaging speaking skills with an ability to communicate complex ideas simply and effectively; ability to speak credibly about clinical, technical, financial aspects of Willis Towers Watson’s offerings
- Experience in training/mentoring junior staff
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
- Availability to travel on an as needed basis
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s and/or PharmD degree preferred
- For pharmacists; actively licensed in home state and in good standing
- State Life and Health license required within 90 days of joining

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that base salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation.
Compensation
The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $90,000-$140,000 USD per year.
This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus

About this role
Acturhire is seeking a Pharmacy Consulting Manager in Atlanta to work at the intersection of pharmacy benefit management strategy and healthcare consulting. You'd be advising clients on complex PBM and health plan challenges, drawing on deep expertise in clinical strategy, analytics, and the broader US healthcare ecosystem. This role demands someone who can translate ambiguity into actionable insights under pressure, communicate technical and financial concepts clearly to diverse audiences, and mentor junior team members while maintaining strong client relationships across cross-functional initiatives.
The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in clinical strategy, PBM, analytics, or benefits consulting—with PBM account executive experience particularly valued. You'll need a bachelor's degree at minimum; a Master's or PharmD is preferred. If you're a pharmacist, you'll need an active state license and must obtain a State Life and Health license within 90 days. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are essential, along with willingness to travel as needed. This is a full-time, in-office position in Atlanta with a base salary of $90,000–$140,000 plus annual bonus eligibility, comprehensive health and wellness benefits, retirement plans, and robust leave options.
