Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-native platforms on AWS.
- Build and maintain Kubernetes-based microservices infrastructure.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Helm, and Groovy.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Terraform.
- Lead cloud migration, platform modernization, and disaster recovery initiatives.
- Implement security controls using Okta, Keycloak, OAuth, and cloud security best practices.
- Develop automation tools and scripts using Java and/or Python.
- Collaborate with Development, QA, Security, and Infrastructure teams throughout the SDLC.
- Build monitoring, observability, and alerting solutions for platform and application services.
- Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis across the application and infrastructure stack.

About this role
Zensar is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design and operate AWS-based cloud-native platforms at enterprise scale. You'll own the full stack—from architecting Kubernetes microservices infrastructure and automating deployments with Terraform and Jenkins, to implementing security controls via Okta and Keycloak, and building monitoring and observability solutions. The role demands hands-on technical depth across AWS services, CI/CD practices, and infrastructure-as-code, paired with the ability to write automation in Java or Python and troubleshoot issues across application and infrastructure layers.
This position suits someone with a software development mindset who thrives on modernization and operational excellence. You'll collaborate across Development, QA, Security, and Infrastructure teams throughout the software development lifecycle, leading cloud migrations and disaster recovery initiatives. Experience with service meshes like Istio, REST API development, or enterprise retail/eCommerce platforms is valued but not required. The role is based in Hyderabad and requires in-office attendance.
