About this role

Marriott International's HR Operations internship at The Ritz-Carlton Singapore offers six months of hands-on exposure across the full spectrum of human resources functions. You'll support the Senior Director of HR Operations on recruitment activities—including job postings and mass hiring for new properties—alongside work in compensation, employee relations, training coordination, and HR compliance. The role spans both operational tasks like maintaining HR records and databases, and strategic involvement in Human Capital Planning and pre-opening hotel projects.

This internship suits someone detail-oriented and organized who can thrive in a fast-paced corporate environment. You'll need strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and excellent written and spoken English. A background in HR, business, hospitality management, or social sciences is preferred. The position requires you to be a Singapore citizen, PR holder, or valid pass holder, and eligible to study or have studied at a university in Singapore or one of several specified countries.

The learning curve is broad—you'll develop competency across job screening, benefits administration, salary surveying, training program coordination, and stakeholder engagement. If you're looking to test whether HR operations aligns with your career interests before committing to a full-time role, this structured six-month program provides genuine project ownership and mentorship within a major hospitality corporation.
