About this role

Marriott International's six-month corporate internship places you within the Associate Relations team at their Singapore office, supporting human resources functions across the Asia Pacific region. You'll work on real compliance and employee relations matters—logging and assisting with investigation cases, monitoring adherence to company policies and local labor regulations, and helping facilitate associate relations projects and training initiatives. The role sits at the intersection of HR operations and people management, giving you exposure to how a global hospitality company handles workplace issues, fair treatment processes, and organizational culture at scale.

The position suits someone detail-oriented and organized who can handle confidential information responsibly and communicate clearly in writing and conversation. You'll need strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel and PowerPoint especially), quick typing ability for recording statements, and ideally some experience writing reports. The work moves at a fast pace and requires you to be self-motivated—you'll research emerging HR practices and labor legislation, manage multiple cases and projects concurrently, and collaborate across internal teams and external stakeholders. This is an internship for someone genuinely interested in building an HR or associate relations career, not just gaining generic corporate experience.

To be eligible, you must be a Singaporean citizen, Singapore Permanent Resident, or hold a valid student or work holiday pass. You should be an undergraduate from a recognized Singapore university or a graduate of an institution in Australia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, or the United States. A background in Human Resources, Social Sciences, Business Management, or Hospitality Management is preferred.
