About this role
The Ritz-Carlton's spa in Phoenix is seeking a licensed massage therapist for part-time work delivering treatments to hotel guests. You'll provide massage services using various techniques and products, along with body treatments such as scrubs, wraps, and hydrotherapy. Before each session, you'll assess client needs and screen for contraindications like allergies or pregnancy. The role requires you to maintain current knowledge of massage modalities, keep treatment areas clean and properly stocked, manage your schedule efficiently, and handle the retail side of promoting spa services to guests.
Beyond the hands-on work, this position emphasizes guest experience and professional standards. You'll escort clients through the spa, check in frequently during treatments to ensure comfort and safety, and respond to guest needs with the service standards Ritz-Carlton is known for. The job also includes operational responsibilities: sterilizing equipment, maintaining workspace cleanliness, managing linens and supplies, and documenting any accidents or safety concerns. You'll need to handle occasional difficult situations professionally and maintain confidentiality.

You should be comfortable standing, walking, and performing detailed manual work for extended periods, and be able to lift and carry items up to 10 pounds.
