About this role
Marriott International's Corporate Internship Program places you within the APEC finance operations team at The Ritz-Carlton Singapore for six months, working directly to support the Senior Director of Finance Operations. You'll move beyond classroom theory into real financial analysis and business intelligence work—gathering and organizing data, documenting processes, building financial models, and preparing analyses and presentations that inform leadership decisions across the Asia-Pacific region. This is hands-on exposure to how hospitality finance actually operates at a corporate level, with meaningful projects rather than administrative busywork.
The role suits someone with strong analytical and spreadsheet skills who can interpret complex financial information and communicate findings clearly to senior management. Prior experience in project management or event organizing is valued, as is familiarity with hospitality-specific metrics like RevPAR and flow-through margins, though not required. You'll need to manage multiple workstreams independently and collaboratively, stay organized under deadline pressure, and communicate effectively across the finance team.
You must be in your third year of an undergraduate degree in Business Management or Hospitality at a Singapore-registered university, and hold Singaporean citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid student pass. The internship runs full-time, in-office, from January to June 2027.
