About this role

At The Ritz-Carlton's Phoenix location, this seasonal role puts you in a Snowflake costume leading character-themed shows and live entertainment activities for guests. You'll perform scripted scenes with room for improvisation, potentially including dance and singing, while staying in character throughout your shift. Beyond performing, you'll recruit and register guests for activities, host events, provide facility tours, and create an energized atmosphere that keeps guests engaged and comfortable. The work demands physical stamina—you'll stand for extended periods in a bulky, heated costume, work with large crowds and children, and manage the practical side of costume maintenance and equipment upkeep.

This position suits confident performers with previous entertainment or acting experience and comfort working with audiences of all sizes. You'll need current CPR and First Aid certifications, a high school diploma or equivalent, and ideally at least a year of customer-facing experience. The role is physically demanding: you'll lift up to 50 pounds, navigate uneven surfaces and tight spaces, and tolerate outdoor elements and noise. Equally important is your ability to maintain the character's predetermined appearance and mannerisms consistently, meet the costume's size and weight requirements, and handle the heat and confinement of performing in full costume for hours at a time.
