About this role

The Ritz-Carlton's APEC region is seeking a financial analyst to support senior leadership in evaluating major business decisions—from assessing new hotel development opportunities to analyzing merger and acquisition prospects. Based in Singapore, you would work on moderate-scope projects involving valuation, return on investment analysis, and financial modeling, translating complex data into clear recommendations for executives. This role sits at the intersection of corporate finance and hospitality operations, requiring you to monitor regional performance against long-range plans and develop actionable insights that drive profitability and growth.

You'll need at least five years of experience in financial analysis and modeling, with solid grounding in core finance concepts like NPV and IRR. Strong spreadsheet and presentation skills are essential, as is the ability to synthesize detailed financial information into formats appropriate for senior decision-makers. Hospitality-specific knowledge—such as RevPAR and flow-through analysis—is valued but not required. A degree in Finance or Accounting, or professional credentials like CFA or an MBA in Finance, would strengthen your candidacy, though the role is open to those with equivalent relevant experience.

Success here depends on balancing independent work with effective collaboration across teams and regions. You'll need to communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders, adapt under pressure, and maintain high performance standards while managing multiple concurrent projects. If you thrive on analytical problem-solving and want to influence business strategy at a major hospitality company, this full-time in-office position offers that opportunity.
