About this role
At The Ritz-Carlton's Phoenix location, this seasonal box office role centers on ticket sales and cash handling. You'll sell tickets in person and by phone, process payments and refunds, manage daily bank deposits and reconciliation, and maintain accurate records of all transactions. The position also involves answering guest inquiries about theater policies, pricing, and specials, as well as monitoring and restocking box office supplies.
The work calls for strong attention to detail, comfort with point-of-sale systems and basic math, and the ability to handle cash responsibly. You'll need to communicate clearly with guests and colleagues, follow security protocols carefully, and work within the company's service standards. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, though no prior box office or supervisory experience is required. The role is full-time and seasonal, based in Phoenix.
This position suits someone reliable and organized who enjoys direct guest interaction and doesn't mind repetitive, detail-oriented work. If you're comfortable with cash handling, can balance competing demands during busy periods, and want a structured seasonal opportunity with a major hospitality brand, this could be a good fit.
