About this role
Worthington Enterprises is hiring Production Associates in Paducah to manufacture small portable cylinders on second and third shift schedules. The work is hands-on and physical: you'll assemble and handle parts, operate machines, package finished products, and move material throughout the production floor. The role demands stamina to stand for eight-hour shifts, attention to detail to catch quality issues, and the ability to follow bill-of-material documents and production orders accurately. Machine setup, basic test line operation, and occasional finishing or housekeeping tasks round out the day-to-day responsibilities.
This position suits someone with a strong work ethic who takes initiative without constant direction. While mechanical aptitude is a plus, what matters more is competence with basic math and computer skills, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to read and understand detailed instructions. You'll need valid OSHA safety training, a driver's license, and genuine commitment to following safety and quality procedures—this company emphasizes both throughout the role description.
Compensation starts at $17–18 per hour plus a $1.50 shift differential, with a solid benefits package that includes health, dental, and life insurance, 401(k) matching, paid vacation, paid parental leave, and tuition assistance. If you're looking for full-time production work with room to build a career and benefits that support your growth, this is worth applying for.
