About this role

University of Tennessee at Martin's OB/GYN department in Memphis is seeking an Administrative Associate to manage the front-office operations that keep patient care moving smoothly. You'd handle the full spectrum of administrative tasks: scheduling appointments across multiple providers' EMR systems, verifying insurance eligibility, processing new patient paperwork, managing phone communications, and handling payments. The role demands comfort with electronic medical records systems, basic billing and coding knowledge, and strong organizational skills to juggle competing priorities in a busy clinical setting.

The ideal candidate has at least six months of medical office experience and holds or can obtain a CNA or CMA certification in Tennessee. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to communicate clearly—ideally in both English and Spanish—are important. You'll need to be reliable for occasional evening and weekend shifts. This is a full-time, in-office position that suits someone organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working directly with patients and healthcare providers in a fast-paced environment.
