About this role

DTCC's Information Technology group is seeking a Lead Business Intelligence Engineer to manage and evolve multiple BI products that serve the global capital markets infrastructure. Based in Tampa with a hybrid schedule, this role sits at the intersection of platform administration, automation, and technical leadership—you'll own the day-to-day operations of BI environments while architecting solutions that scale across a large user base.

The position demands deep hands-on expertise across Looker and Amazon Quicksight, with the ability to design complex platform architectures, implement CI/CD pipelines, and automate administrative functions through scripting and APIs. You'll need at least ten years of experience administering BI tools in complex environments, strong proficiency in Python and shell scripting, and solid knowledge of security frameworks like Active Directory and OAuth/SAML. Beyond technical chops, you'll troubleshoot production issues independently, mentor team members, and set standards for BI development practices across the organization.

This is a leadership role that blends individual contribution with mentorship. Success requires not just managing infrastructure but translating business needs into technical solutions, communicating effectively across IT, security, and business teams, and staying current with vendor best practices. If you have the depth in BI platforms, automation, and CICD processes this role calls for, and you're ready to take on both operational ownership and knowledge leadership, this could be a strong fit.
