About this role

Onsemi is seeking a Product Line Manager to lead the strategy and execution of silicon carbide power solutions for electrification markets. You would own the full product lifecycle—from initial definition and customer validation through development and delivery—working directly with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers to understand their needs, then coordinating across engineering, application teams, packaging, and program management to bring solutions to market. This role sits at the intersection of customer voice and internal execution, requiring you to translate market demands into clear technical and business requirements while keeping programs on track financially and operationally.

The ideal candidate brings at least 10 years in power electronics, with 5+ years leading programs in EV traction or energy storage. You'll need strong technical grounding in SiC MOSFETs, IGBTs, and power modules, combined with proven ability to manage complex cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with both senior leadership and external customers. Beyond technical depth, the role demands strategic thinking, financial acumen (P&L ownership), risk management discipline, and genuine customer focus—the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time, in-office position based in San Jose. It suits someone ready to step into a leadership role where technical credibility and business judgment are equally valued, and where your decisions directly shape products serving the vehicle electrification and energy storage sectors.
