About this role
Onsemi is seeking a senior leader to own the strategic direction and execution of silicon carbide power solutions for electrified vehicles and energy storage applications. In this role, you'll define product roadmaps by working directly with major automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers, then shepherd those programs from conception through production. You'll manage the full P&L, coordinate across engineering, manufacturing, sales, and marketing teams, and serve as the executive voice on program status and market opportunities to senior leadership.
This position demands deep expertise in power electronics—particularly traction systems, SiC MOSFETs, and related semiconductor technologies—combined with at least five years leading complex, cross-functional programs in automotive or energy storage. You'll need strong business acumen to balance technical rigor with financial discipline, plus the communication skills to translate between customer needs, engineering constraints, and corporate strategy. The role is based in San Jose and requires in-office presence.
If you have a decade of power electronics experience, a track record managing high-stakes programs in EV or energy markets, and the leadership maturity to navigate ambiguity while keeping stakeholders aligned, this is a high-impact opportunity at a company focused on electrification and sustainable energy.
