About this role

Onsemi is seeking a pricing analyst to lead analytical and strategic pricing work across two business units (AMG and ISG), working in-office in San Jose on a contract basis. The role sits at the intersection of finance, operations, and strategy, requiring someone who can translate complex cost and market data into actionable pricing recommendations. You'd own pricing performance analysis across product families, customers, channels, and regions while monitoring competitive positioning and market dynamics to identify both risks and revenue opportunities.

The day-to-day involves building financial models, developing dashboards, and quantifying the impact of cost changes on margins—then translating those insights into pricing strategies and business cases for leadership. You'll partner with pricing, marketing, sales, and operations teams to support price increases, contract negotiations, and strategic customer actions, while also establishing consistent analytics and reporting processes across divisions. This is fundamentally a role for someone comfortable with data, Excel and BI tools, and executive communication.

The position calls for a bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field and at least five years in pricing strategy, finance, operations, or cost analysis. Semiconductor or manufacturing experience is preferred. You'll need strong financial modeling skills, proficiency with analytical tools like Power BI or Tableau, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams and present to senior leadership.
